Went here for a friend's birthday to try something new. It was very loud and crowded on a Friday night and sat upstairs even with a reservation. The service was awesome even though they were so busy. Waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Gave great recommendations. Cocktails were a little pricey but had great flavor and were strong. Would return just for the bar. Bang bang shrimp was a huge portion and fantastic. Great for the whole table. Went with the beef manhattan as not a popular menu item places. This hit the spot. The meatloaf was also great. A staple restaurant in Fortville and worth the drive.

Benjamin Thompson was the most outstanding server that I've had the pleasure of having. He's the embodiment of the customer service that people yearn for in today's society. If the food wasn't as wonderful as it was I'd still come back to see him. The man deserves a raise and a pat on the back. I speak for the table of four when I say we left with our bellies full and spirits a little lighter!

Culinary experience! Bone marrow fries. Who thought of creating it? I don't know, but they were the most savory fries we have ever had. We all chose to get different items and share. The Po Boy stood out with crisp shrimp, soft grilled bun and slightly tangy sauce. The fish tacos packed a mouth full of flavors with every bite. We all had leftovers to take home and really couldn't pick a favorite because each item was so unique and all packed flavor. Our waitress was funny and attentive. It was a slightly dark ambiance in bar area at our table and we loved mimosas for brunch. Worth the trip to Fortville!!!!

This was my first visit and certainly won't be the last! My daughter and I had a photo session across the street and found ourselves so happy to have food options close. I opted for the burger and fries and she got the recommended macaroni and cheese. There were so many recommendations but I was happy with my burger selection. It lessened the blow a bit on the IU football loss. Service was great (Zach). We can't wait to go back and try something else!

Returned to FoxGardin for dinner in the upstairs bar last evening. Erin took great care of us at the bar, which is our preferred seating. We shared the BBQ bacon shrimp and crab Rangoon dip starters followed by the bakkafrost salmon Oscar style (add $14) and the 12 oz filet with horseradish blue cheese sauce (add $4.50). In an effort to reduce carbs, I opted to replace the cilantro lime rice for the salmon with broccoli -- well worth the $2 upcharge as the broccoli was prepared perfectly! And, I have to say, the bakkafrost salmon was easily the best I've had AND it was a huge portion! Looking forward to returning!
